RAFINED Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of rafined.com and purchases from RAFINED (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Our Return Policy, Shipping Policy and any offer-specific terms disclosed before purchase also apply. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform for our store. RAFINED is the seller responsible for the products and customer service.

2. Eligibility and permitted use

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize and supervise your use as required by law.

Use the website lawfully. Do not misuse accounts, submit fraudulent orders, interfere with the website, upload malicious code, collect other users' personal information without permission, or infringe another person's rights.

3. Product information and use

We aim to describe products accurately. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colors appear. A shade recommendation or quiz result is a guide and does not guarantee an exact match.

Follow the product instructions and warnings. Grooming tools and blades must be handled carefully and kept away from children. Do not use a product on irritated or injured skin unless its instructions expressly permit that use. Our products and website content are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.

4. Prices, offers and payment

Prices are shown in the currency identified on the website or at checkout. Applicable taxes, shipping and optional charges are shown before payment. The order total displayed at checkout is the amount you authorize us to charge.

Discounts, bundles, free gifts and shipping promotions are subject to the conditions displayed with the offer. They may have eligibility requirements and may not combine unless stated. A free gift has no cash-redemption value. Refunds for promotional purchases are handled under our Return Policy and applicable law.

We may change prices or discontinue offers for future purchases. A change does not retroactively alter an accepted order.

5. Orders and acceptance

Please provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. An order acknowledgment confirms that we received your order. We accept the order when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless applicable law or an express confirmation states otherwise.

We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, such as unavailable stock, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud or an inability to deliver to the address provided. We will notify you and refund any payment taken for items we cannot supply. We will not charge a corrected higher price without your agreement.

6. Changes and cancellations

Email rafinedllc@gmail.com as soon as possible to request an order change or cancellation. We will help where fulfillment has not progressed too far. If an order has already shipped, our Return Policy applies, together with any statutory cancellation rights.

7. Delivery, returns and refunds

Our Shipping Policy explains processing estimates, delivery options and shipping rates. Our Return Policy explains our voluntary 60-day return window, eligibility conditions and refund process.

Any mandatory rights relating to cancellation, delivery, faulty products or refunds take priority over a conflicting term. Shipping delays do not automatically eliminate your right to cancel or obtain another remedy where the law provides one.

8. Optional shipping protection

Shipping protection is an optional paid addition when offered. Its price is shown in the cart, and you can remove it before checkout. It is off by default; you can choose to add it in the cart before checkout. Choosing not to purchase it does not waive any legal rights relating to delivery, loss, damage or refunds.

9. Accounts and website availability

Keep your account details secure and notify us if you believe your account has been used without permission. We may restrict access for fraud, unlawful conduct or a material breach of these Terms. Such action does not remove rights relating to an existing valid purchase.

We may update or temporarily interrupt the website for maintenance or other operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, but we remain responsible for obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Intellectual property and customer content

Website text, branding, product images and other original materials belong to RAFINED or their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. You may use the website for personal shopping purposes. Commercial copying or reuse requires permission unless the law permits it.

If you choose to submit a product review or photo for publication, you confirm that you have the right to submit it. You give RAFINED a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display that submission in connection with our products and store, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership. We may moderate unlawful, abusive, misleading or irrelevant submissions; we do not require a positive review.

11. Third-party services and links

Some website functions are provided by third parties. External websites may have their own terms and privacy policies. A link does not mean we control that website. This provision does not remove our responsibility for the products we sell or for third parties where the law makes us responsible.

12. Warranties and liability

We are responsible for supplying products as described and meeting applicable legal obligations. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the purchase agreement was made or for business losses arising from products purchased for personal use. We do not exclude statutory guarantees, warranties or remedies.

13. Governing law and resolving concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, United States, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence apply. This does not deprive you of protections or access to courts available under mandatory local law.

14. Updates and general terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. The version presented when you place an order applies to that order unless you agree otherwise or the law requires a change.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally permitted. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. If an offer-specific term conflicts with a general term, the specific term applies to that offer, subject to mandatory law.
